Mission
CMX Racing was created to help racers, manufacturers and sponsors benefit from the rapidly expanding sport of competitive off-road racing.
Our mission is to bring the sport of competitive off-road racing to its highest level. We strive to bring sponsors, racers, manufacturers and fans the most organized, visible, dedicated and respected circuit in the industry. CMX is dedicated to delivering superior marketing value to its sponsors through Motocross racing. events that attract top professionals as well as amateur competitors and, most importantly, enthusiastic fans.
Who is CMX Racing?
CMX Racing is the governing body which organizes, promotes, and regulates a variety of off-road competitive events. The CMX race season begins in early April and runs through to the end of October. The racing season is comprised of motocross events that are divided into three separate racing series; Spring/Summer, Provincial and a Fall grouping. ATV racers benefit from a separate racing series which spans through the racing season. In addition to riders receiving awards at the individual races, the top three riders in each class are honored at the annual CMX awards banquet. In what has become a tradition, CMX organizes an Amateur National which is held every August during the Civic holiday. Amateur competitors from all across the province travel to compete in the weekend long event. Champions crowned at the CMX Amateur National are well on the way to becoming tomorrow’s stars!
History
CMX Racing was started in 2002. We noticed a significant need for quality racing in the Ontario market and decided to form a new organization that placed focus on making sure the riders were treated to the longest motos packed into the shortest racing day. Celebrating its 7th year of competitive off-road racing, CMX Racing has grown to over 1,000 members and has become recognized as an innovative racing organization. CMX’s exclusive electronic registration system, which creates a seamless process for competition entries and on-screen advertising opportunities, is just one example. CMX cares deeply about its constituents, its fans, its sponsors and the longevity of organized off-road competition.
